Osprey Estate offers the perfect accommodations and access for you and your fellow hikers. Greenhorn trailhead is a popular nearby mid-valley trail system. As you go closer to Ketchum, trails near The Sun Valley Lodge, River Run or Adams Gulch are 15-20 minutes by car. All of these trails can also be reached by bike utilizing the Wood River bike trail accessible on Zinc Spur at the edge of our neighborhood.
For longer day trips, drive north on Highway 75 into the scenic Sawtooth National Forest, or head past Sun Valley lodge to the east for the Pioneer Cabin Trail area. Within 30 minutes by car from Osprey Estate, the possibilities in both directions are endless. Whether you are a novice or expert hiker, Sun Valley has trails for you. Hikes range from 30 minutes to as long as 5 hours in length, and from novice to expert in difficulty.

Because of the endless trail options available, we suggest one of the first stops you make upon entering Ketchum is theSun Valley Visitors Center, located in the Starbucks two blocks east of the intersection of Hwy 75 and Sun Valley Road. Their local guides will supply you with the trail maps and personal input you need and help you plan a full schedule of daily hikes and/or bike rides for the duration of your trip.
